McDowell claims the bible is exceptional, because it is written over a vast period and by many different people in different backgrounds, yet it is miraculously and divinely free of inconsistencies. The only real beef I have with it is that even after reading the thing pretty much cover-to-cover, I still can’t figure out McDowell’s note-taking system!
